Evan Roos made his Test debut against Wales in 2022 after he was named the SA Vodacom United Rugby Championship Player of the Season. He missed out on a place in the 2023 RWC squad and added a few more Tests to his tally in 2024 and 2025, competing with a number of star players for spots in the loose trio. The former Junior Springbok is a very strong ball carrier and has a knack for turning over possession on the ground.
